About Clarence Seedorf:
Born in 1976 Clarence Seedorf emerged as a talented midfielder playing for Ajax Amsterdam during the early 1990’s. His strength and footballing ability made him a key member of the Ajax squad which secured two Eredivisie titles in the mid 1990’s together with the Champions League in 1995.
In his first season with Real Madrid Seedorf tasted success yet again as he helped the team to regain La Liga for the Madrid faithful. In 1998 he was an integral member of the Real Madrid team which secured the Champions League title.
A move to Inter Milan during the 1999-2000 season heralded hopes of great things to come at the Italian club however despite being eager for success Seedorf could not help bring any major silverware to the club.
After two years at Inter Seedorf moved to city rivals AC Milan in 2002 and quickly enjoyed success again when AC Milan won the Copa Italia in 2003 together with the Champions League. This was Seedorf's third Champions League medal and put him firmly in the history books as the first and only player to date to win the UEFA Champions League with three different clubs.
Seedorf plays for the Dutch national team and despite being out of favour for a period when Marco van Basten took over as national coach his ability and talent have earned him a call back to the international squad.
